USDA / RD Rural Rental Housing Loans

OVERVIEW: The U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development provides direct, competitive mortgage loans made to encourage affordable multifamily rental housing for very low-, low-, and moderate-income families; the elderly; and persons with disabilities. These loans can be used by a variety of entities to create rural rental housing or it can be used by individuals to help pay for rural rental housing. Funds may also be used to buy and improve land and to provide necessary facilities such as water and waste disposal systems
